Recycling: Many properties in Akumal Norte have already implemented recycling systems and are seeing measurable results. Condominios Yalku Cai, Villa Balam Ek, Casa Luna, Casa Alux, and Mi Casa del Mar are just a few that have installed on-site recycling stations and are leading by example—reducing waste and improving guest satisfaction in the process.

Composting: The goal of composting is to reduce the amount of organic waste that ends up in Tulum landfills, prevent leachate pollution, prevent wildlife from moving into residential areas, prevent pests, and provide natural fertilizer for plants.
